It takes a little time to get used to a one room apartment even for a fashion designer like Juan Carlos Quintana who moved into a former canning factory with his friend in London's East End. During the first year they slept in a tent pitched in the enormous room while gradually outfitting their home with contemporary design and collected vintage objects.
