Zoe and Neil had thought about living in their Kentish country house for some years before they actually got the chance to do so. Living in a barn practically next door to the house had allowed them to dream about the possibility of it coming up for sale – and how perfect it would be for them as a family. So when it eventually did become available, they jumped at it. Zoe and Neil’s own expanding family was the reason for moving in the first place. They had outgrown the barn and needed a house with more room upstairs and the new kitchen expresses a passion for modern open plan living and a palette contributed to by the whole family.
